EMPIRE OF WEALTH
Starting in 1903 as the M.H. Kuhn Company in Rochester, N.Y. It became The Haloid Photographic Company in 1906 and originally manufactured photographic paper and equipment. Chester Carlson made the first xerographic image in 1938 and patented the process in 1942. Initially the process was thought to be worthless, but The Haloid Company commercialized the process. Haloid Xerox was incorporated in 1958 and changed to the Xerox Corporation in 1961. Link to Xerox’s interactive timeline visit Getting Down to Business® on Facebook.
